40 mesh (400 micron) captures coarse debris and is suited for general-purpose fuel and oil transfer. 80 mesh (180 micron) provides finer filtration for applications feeding meters, electronic nozzles, or precision dispensing equipment.
How often should I replace the element?
Inspect every 3-6 months. Replace when the mesh shows tears, distortion, or heavy buildup that cannot be cleaned. Keep a spare kit on site for quick changeovers.
