Pulse metering explained
The K24 sits inline between your pump and nozzle. As petrol flows through, an internal rotor turns and triggers pulses. Each pulse represents a fixed volume. Your fuel controller counts the pulses and converts them to litres dispensed. No batteries, no display on the meter itself, just a clean signal output that feeds your management system or PLC.
Install and integrate
Female BSP threads both ends mean you screw this meter straight into standard Australian fittings. Aluminium body keeps weight down (0.4 kg) so it does not stress hose connections. The pulse wires run to a KCD2-SOT-Ex1.LB barrier (sold separately), which provides the intrinsically safe interface petrol applications demand. From there, the signal feeds your fuel management software for per-vehicle tracking and reporting.

A mechanical flow meter that generates electrical pulses as petrol passes through it. The pulse count corresponds to volume dispensed, allowing your fuel management system to log and track consumption.
What does the pulse output connect to?
The pulse wires connect to an intrinsically safe barrier (KCD2-SOT-Ex1.LB, sold separately), which then feeds into your fuel management controller or PLC. The barrier is mandatory for safe operation in petrol applications.
Can I use this for diesel?
No. This model is calibrated and rated for petrol only. For diesel pulse metering, contact us for the correct K-series diesel variant.
What thread size do I need?
Both inlet and outlet are DN25 (1 inch) BSP female. If your pump or nozzle hose has male BSP fittings, this meter threads straight on. For other thread types you will need adapters.
What warranty and support apply?
