Frequently Asked Questions

Contact Us
What is the difference between Table E and ANSI 150 flanges?

Table E is the Australian/NZ flange standard (AS/NZS 4087). ANSI 150 is the American standard. They are not interchangeable. Check your existing pipeline flanges before ordering.

Is the epoxy coating fuel-rated?

Yes. Fusion bonded epoxy provides excellent chemical resistance to diesel, petrol, oils, and most industrial fluids. It also provides corrosion protection for the cast iron body.

What maintenance is required?

Inspect and clean the basket screen at least every 6 months, or when flow rate drops noticeably. Check the gasket seal and replace if worn. Keep a spare screen element on hand for quick changeovers.

Can this be installed vertically?

Basket strainers are designed for horizontal installation with the basket hanging downward. This allows gravity to collect debris in the basket for easy removal.
