What it does
Vented fuel tanks breathe in air as you draw fuel out and push air out as you fill. Without a breather trap, you get fuel spitting out the vent during fills and dust sucked in during draws. This Donaldson fitting screws into the vent line and solves both problems: it traps splash-back on the way out and filters incoming air on the way in. Light aluminium body, 3/4 inch BSP male thread to suit common tank vent caps.
