Common Questions
Can I use a diesel pump for AdBlue?
No. Diesel pump materials (brass, copper, mild steel, zinc) corrode in contact with AdBlue (urea solution) and will contaminate the fluid. Contaminated AdBlue damages SCR catalyst systems. Always use dedicated AdBlue-rated pumps with stainless steel and HDPE wetted components.
What flow rate do I need for AdBlue?
Most heavy vehicle AdBlue fill ports accept 30–40lpm maximum. Standard IBC kits deliver 34lpm which suits point-of-use dispensing. Higher flow rates (up to 85lpm) are available for fast-fill depot applications.
Do IBC kits include a meter?
Some kits include a digital meter, others are pump-and-nozzle only. Check the specific kit description. We also stock standalone AdBlue meters that can be added to any pump setup.
Setting up AdBlue dispensing?
Tell us your storage type (IBC, tank, or containerised) and we'll specify the right pump and dispensing setup.
