Why coalescing matters
Free water in fuel causes corrosion, microbial growth, and injector failure. A standard spin-on filter traps sediment but lets fine water droplets through. The Velcon 210A coalescer forces those droplets to merge and settle, so only dry, clean fuel reaches your engine or aircraft. That is why aviation operators specify it.

What does a coalescing element do?
It captures fine water droplets and forces them to combine into larger drops that settle out, plus traps particulate contamination to micron level. Critical for aircraft and sensitive equipment.
How often do I replace the element?
Depends on fuel cleanliness and throughput. Monitor pressure drop across the filter. When flow slows noticeably or pressure differential exceeds spec, swap the element.
Is this overkill for standard diesel?
Yes, if you are just running a site generator or light truck. This is premium filtration for applications where water or sediment ingestion causes catastrophic damage or regulatory failure.
