Tank Medic is a highly concentrated fuel biocide that eliminates and controls bacteria, fungi and water contamination in diesel and stored fuels. Water and biological contamination is harmlessly dissolved and dispersed into the fuel to be burnt off, removing the problem rather than just killing the bug. It will not affect seals, hoses or fittings. Available in 1 L, 5 L and 20 L.
What fuel bug really costs
"Fuel bug" is microscopic fungi, bacteria and yeast that live at the interface between water and diesel. It feeds on the fuel and on water from tank condensation, reproducing fast and forming dark sludge. Left untreated it blocks filters, damages injectors and fuel pumps, hazes the fuel, and corrodes tanks and fuel-system components.
Removes the problem, not just the bug
Tank Medic uses microbiological controls and surface-active agents to harmlessly dissolve and disperse both water and biological contamination into the fuel, where it is burnt off through normal combustion. Unlike biocides that only kill bacteria and leave it in the tank, Tank Medic removes the entire problem and absorbs condensation, without affecting seals, hoses or fittings.

Tank Medic is a highly concentrated fuel biocide that eliminates and controls bacteria, fungi and water contamination in diesel and stored fuels. It dissolves and disperses contamination into the fuel so it is burnt off through normal combustion.
How is it different from other biocides?
Many biocides only kill the bacteria and leave it in the tank, and do nothing about water. Tank Medic removes the entire problem by dispersing both the biological contamination and the water so they are burnt off, while absorbing condensation.
How much do I use?
For an initial purge, dose 2 litres per 1,000 litres of fuel. Maintenance can then drop to as little as 1 litre per 4,000 litres. Where growth is heavy, up to 5 litres per 1,000 litres can be used. Always add Tank Medic before adding the fuel.
Will it harm my fuel system?
No. Tank Medic does not affect seals, hoses or fittings within the fuel system. Note that initial dosing attacks existing fuel bug, so filters may need more frequent cleaning or replacement until the system is purged.
