A basic inline cartridge filter for diesel and fuel oil. Catches particles down to 100 micron (0.1 mm) before they reach pumps or nozzles.
What does 100 micron mean?
It traps particles larger than 0.1 mm. Coarser than water filters but fine enough to protect most transfer pumps and meters from dirt.
How often do I replace the element?
Depends on fuel cleanliness. Clean tank fuel might go 6-12 months. Dirty farm tanks could clog in weeks. Watch for flow drop-off.
