Worn carbon vanes and a scored rotor are the classic failure on a rotary vane pump after high-cycle service. The kit replaces every wearable component in the rotor chamber - rotor, vanes, cover, gaskets, o-rings, bypass poppet. The pump comes back to factory 76 L/min flow rate, not a degraded approximation.

The 700KTF2659 fits the 700 Series 240V AC range: FR700B, FR700V, FR701V and FR702V (mechanical-meter and meter-less variants). It does not fit the 1200 Series (12V DC) or 4200 Series (24V DC) - those use the KIT120RG family. If you are unsure, check the model number on the pump data plate.
What exactly does the kit replace?
Every wearable component in the rotor chamber. Rotor, 8 carbon graphite vanes, rotor cover, rotor key, bypass valve poppet, plus the full gasket and o-ring set required to seal the pump body after reassembly. Motor, mechanical meter, and pump body are not included - those rarely fail.
How long does a 700 Series rebuild take?
A workshop technician with the pump on the bench should be able to strip, clean, install the kit and recommission in about an hour. Field rebuilds with the pump still mounted on the tank typically take 90 minutes to two hours including hose disconnection and reconnection.
Is the kit OEM or aftermarket?
Genuine Fill-Rite, manufactured by Tuthill in the USA. Aftermarket carbon vanes are dimensionally inconsistent and wear unevenly, which scores the rotor pocket and reduces flow rate within months. Always use Fill-Rite OEM vanes for a 700 Series rebuild.
What fluids is the rebuilt pump rated for?
Diesel, petrol, kerosene and light fuel oils. The kit is not rated for AdBlue, ethanol blends above E15, methanol, or any aviation gasoline (avgas). Petroleum diesel and ULP are the most common applications.
Do you stock the new pump if the rebuild is not viable?
Yes. If the motor or meter is damaged, we stock complete 240V AC 700 Series pump kits (FR700VE pump-only, FR701VEL with mechanical meter, FR701VELA auto-nozzle and meter). Contact sales for the right replacement kit for your install.
