LIVE TANK LEVEL DATA WITHOUT THE GUESSWORK
Electronic float sensor for diesel and petrol tanks, 4-20mA output signal. Reads fluid level continuously and feeds tank gauge systems or automation controls.
What it does
The OLE Float Sensor sits in your tank and moves up and down with the fuel. As it moves, it sends a 4-20mA signal to your gauge or controller. That signal translates to a percentage or litres remaining, updated in real time. No dipping sticks, no charts taped to the tank wall.
How you use it
Wire the two-conductor cable to an OLE digital gauge, a PLC, or any industrial controller with a 4-20mA input. The sensor is loop powered, so you don't need a separate supply. Mount it through the tank top, let the float arm drop, and you're live. Standard on GO bunded tanks; straightforward retrofit on most others.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can't find your answer?
Contact UsWhat is the OLE Float Sensor?
A continuous-level fuel sensor that outputs a 4-20mA signal. It sits inside the tank on a vertical float arm and tells your gauge or controller how full the tank is.
What does 4-20mA mean?
It's an industry-standard electrical signal. 4mA = empty, 20mA = full. Most digital gauges and PLCs read it directly, so you get a live percentage or litres remaining.
Will it fit my tank?
Standard on GO Fill bunded tanks. For retrofits, check you have top-entry access and clearance for the float arm travel. We can advise on sizing.
Can I connect this to a basic multimeter?
Yes, but you'll read milliamps, not litres. For a proper display, pair it with an OLE digital gauge or a PLC with a 4-20mA input module.
What about warranty and support?
12 months on factory defects. Float and cable damage from contamination or impact is not covered. For technical questions or bulk orders, call 07 3204 2240 or email sales@goind.com.au.
