The ethanol problem
Standard water-finding paste is useless in bio-ethanol fuels. Ethanol absorbs water, so the paste reacts to the fuel itself and gives false readings. You end up draining clean tanks or missing real contamination. Kolor Kut Modified formula solves this by detecting only free water, the kind that separates out and sits at the bottom of your tank causing corrosion and microbial growth.

How do I use it?
Apply a thin layer of paste to your dipstick or tank probe. Lower into the tank to the bottom. If free water is present, the paste changes colour where it contacted water. Wipe clean and reapply for next check.
