Kelco has been making the UB-series flow switches in Australia for over 30 years. The body is machined from solid brass on a single piece, the piston runs on high-power magnets, and there are no springs in the wet area - the design that gives the switch its reputation for outlasting cheap imports.
DESIGNED FOR DIESEL AND OIL
The -D variant uses a Nylon piston that suits diesel, light fuels, and lubricants. Pair the brass body with a compatible reed module and you have a reliable switch for fuel pump control, dispenser interlocks, and bulk-storage low-flow alarms.

B is the electrical module (SPST NO dry reed switch) and D denotes the Dieseline mode - a piston tuning that suits diesel, oil, and other heavier fuels rather than the standard water configuration.
Will the UB25-B-D work on diesel and water?
Yes. The D variant uses a Nylon piston compatible with both diesel/oil and water service. Standard (non-D) UB25-B uses a glass-reinforced polypropylene piston tuned for water.
Can I mount this upside down?
Yes. The UB25 series mounts in any orientation including upside down, in horizontal or vertical pipework. The magnetic piston return is gravity-independent.
What is the trigger flow?
On a slowly rising flow the switch trips at 1.5 L/min +/-15%. On a slowly falling flow it resets at 1.2 L/min +/-15%. Both figures are for the standard piston.
Is it suitable for PLC control circuits?
Yes. The SPST NO reed contact is rated 240V AC / 200V DC at 1 amp resistive - ideal for PLC inputs and general control circuits. Not suitable for direct inductive loads.
