What it does
When your ute tips or a trailer tank rolls, this valve springs shut and stops diesel pouring out the vent. It is a weighted ball on a spring. Gravity does the work. No electronics, no air pilot, no calibration. Suits diesel, AdBlue, and light oils in tanks under 5,000L where you need basic spill containment without the cost of a full vacuum-breaker system.

How does it trigger?
Gravity pulls a weighted ball onto the seal when the tank tilts past about 45 degrees. A spring holds it closed until the tank returns upright and internal pressure pushes the ball off the seat.
Can I use it on a 10,000L static tank?
It will function, but tanks over 5,000L often need vacuum-breaker vents with higher flow capacity. This unit is sized for ute tanks and small workshop bowsers.
What if the spring rusts or the seal hardens?
