KEY FEATURES

The GO TRAILER 2000L is a road-registered, self bunded fuel trailer designed for high-volume mobile refuelling across large Australian worksites and remote operations. Separate tank and chassis design isolates the fuel module from towing stresses, and rear tow-and-leave connections let you deploy independently of your tow vehicle.

The self bunded tank module sits independently on the aluminium chassis. This isolates the tank from towing vibration and road stress, extending service life and simplifying maintenance. The primary tank module is removable for cleaning or replacement.

Internal baffles prevent fuel surge during transport, keeping the trailer stable under braking, acceleration and cornering. Critical for safe towing on public roads, rough mine access tracks and remote site conditions.

Fully bunded, weatherproof pump bay mounted on the drawbar. Two lockable reverse-opening access doors protect your pump, meter and filtration from dust, rain and tampering. DN40 suction with pre-installed foot valve.

Two suction points and two return points at the rear of the trailer allow you to connect dispensing equipment without accessing the pump bay. Drop the trailer on site, unhitch, connect your hose reel – the trailer becomes a stationary fuel station.

Dual-axle aluminium chassis with roller/rocker suspension keeps the tare weight to 1,100 kg. Gross vehicle weight comes in under 3 tonnes, giving you excellent payload efficiency while maintaining structural integrity.

Fitted with electric brakes as standard, fully compliant with all Australian state and territory road regulations. Requires an in-cab brake controller for proportional braking performance. Superior braking control on extended remote deployments.

TOWING & SITE REQUIREMENTS

The GO TRAILER 2000L is designed for road transport and site deployment. Ensure your tow vehicle and site access meet these requirements.

Suitable Tow VehicleVehicle must have the correct tow capacity, hitch type and in-cab electric brake controller. The 2,000L model has a gross weight under 3,000 kg and requires electric brake control for safe operation. Check your vehicle's tow rating and brake controller compatibility before ordering.
In-Cab Brake ControllerAn in-cab electric brake controller is mandatory for the 2,000L model. This device allows the driver to modulate the trailer's brakes independently, providing superior control on remote tracks and sites. Ensure your tow vehicle is equipped before deployment.
Appropriate Licence ClassTowing a loaded fuel trailer on public roads requires the correct licence class for combined vehicle weight. The 2,000L model may require a higher licence class due to combined weight. Check with your state road authority to confirm your licence permits towing.
Level Parking on SiteWhen deployed as a tow-and-leave station, park on a level hardstand or compacted surface. Use wheel chocks and the parking brake to prevent movement during dispensing.
Fire ExtinguisherMinimum 4.5 kg dry chemical extinguisher must be carried on the trailer or tow vehicle during transport and on site during dispensing.
Earthing During DispensingConnect the trailer to an earthing point before dispensing. Earthing cable and clamp not included but available as an accessory.
ADG PlacardingEnsure correct Hazchem and dangerous goods placards are displayed during road transport per ADG Code requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

What licence class do I need to tow the GO TRAILER 2000L?

Licence requirements for the GO TRAILER 2000L depend on the combined Gross Vehicle Mass Rating of your tow vehicle and the loaded trailer. With a gross weight under 3,000 kg, you may require a higher licence class than for the 1,250L model. Check with your state road authority to confirm your licence permits towing the loaded 2000L trailer and the combined weight of your specific tow vehicle.

Why does the 2000L model have electric brakes?

The 2000L model is fitted with electric brakes as standard because of its increased weight and capacity. Electric brakes provide superior braking control, especially on rough terrain and extended remote deployments. An in-cab brake controller allows the driver to modulate trailer braking independently from the vehicle's brakes, improving safety and towing stability.

Do I need an in-cab brake controller for the 2000L?

Yes. The GO TRAILER 2000L is fitted with electric brakes, which require an in-cab brake controller to operate safely. This device allows you to adjust the trailer's braking proportionally and independently. Ensure your tow vehicle is equipped with a compatible controller before deployment.

Can I store multiple fluid types in the GO TRAILER 2000L?

The GO TRAILER 2000L is designed for a single fluid type per deployment. It is rated for diesel, petrol, kerosene and aviation fuels. Standard construction is suitable for all these fluids. A 304 stainless steel tank option is available for aviation fuel applications. Ensure you use the correct ADG placarding and Hazchem labels for the fluid being transported.

What pump configurations can the 2000L pump bay accept?

The drawbar pump bay accepts 12V DC, 24V DC and hand pump configurations. For the larger 2000L capacity, we recommend higher-flow pumps such as the Piusi 24V 85 LPM kit, heavy-duty GPI hand pump, or Honda petrol-driven pump (up to 115 LPM). Solar panel kits for 12V battery charging are available. Contact us to discuss the best configuration for your flow rate and power source.

How much fuel can I dispense per hour from the 2000L?

Dispensing rate depends on your chosen pump configuration. With a 24V 85 LPM pump, you can dispense approximately 5,100 litres per hour. With a hand pump (typical rate 15-20 LPM), you'll dispense 900–1,200 litres per hour. A Honda petrol-driven pump (115 LPM) delivers around 6,900 litres per hour. Choose the pump that matches your site demand and power availability.

Is the 2000L model suitable for long-distance remote operations?

Yes. The GO TRAILER 2000L is purpose-built for remote operations. Its larger capacity reduces the frequency of resupply tanker visits, and the tow-and-leave design allows you to deploy independently of your tow vehicle. Electric brakes and the fully baffled tank ensure safe handling on rough access tracks and extended remote deployments. The 2-year warranty covers all standard use.
