Stop contamination at the vent
Overview

Stop contamination at the vent

Bulk fuel tanks breathe as product is dispensed and temperature changes. Without proper filtration, that breathing cycle pulls dust, moisture, and airborne crud straight into your stored diesel or AdBlue. The Donaldson TRAP dual-filter assembly mounts on the tank vent port and stops contaminants before they reach the product. Stainless steel and brass construction handles years of outdoor exposure and corrosive vapours.

Fits standard tank ports
Key benefit

Fits standard tank ports

DN80 and DN40 connections suit the vent ports on most 5,000 to 50,000 litre bulk tanks. No custom fabrication or hard-to-source adapters. Mount the assembly, connect to the vent port, and the tank is protected. Filter elements are field-replaceable when service intervals arrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can't find your answer?

Contact Us
What is the Donaldson TRAP breather assembly?

A dual-filter head that mounts on tank vent ports to stop water and particulate contamination entering stored fuel, AdBlue, or oil. Stainless steel and brass construction with DN80 and DN40 connections.

What size tanks does this suit?

Suits bulk storage tanks with DN80 or DN40 vent ports. Common on 5,000 to 50,000 litre diesel, AdBlue, and oil tanks at construction sites, farms, and transport depots.

How often do the filter elements need replacing?

Depends on dust levels and tank breathing frequency. Typical service interval is 12-24 months in clean environments, 6-12 months in high-dust sites. Elements are field-replaceable.

Can this handle outdoor installation?

Yes. Stainless steel and brass materials resist corrosion from weather and tank vapours. Designed for permanent outdoor mounting on bulk fuel tank vents.

What warranty and support is included?

12-month warranty on assembly defects. Filter elements are consumables and not warranty items. For installation advice or replacement elements, contact sales@goind.com.au or 07 3204 2240.
