What it does
Diesel tanks breathe. As fuel goes out, air comes in. As tanks fill, air goes out. Without a breather filter, every breath pulls in moisture and airborne dust. This Donaldson trap screws into the vent port and stops contaminants at the door while letting the tank vent freely.
Who it suits
Any diesel storage tank with a DN25 (1 inch) BSP vent port. Workshop bulk tanks, site fuel trailers, above-ground storage. If you are storing diesel outdoors or in dusty environments, a breather trap is cheap insurance against water and dirt degrading fuel quality over time.
