What is a GO Self-Bunded Tank?

The GO BOX is GO Industrial's compact cube-profile self-bunded tank, designed for worksites, workshops and fleet operators who need safe fuel storage without a dedicated bunded compound. Available from 250L through to 11,000L, every GO BOX is manufactured to AS1940 standard and carries UN31A/Y certification for road transport of dangerous goods.

Built for transport and remote sites

The square footprint makes GO BOX tanks easy to palletise, chain down and transport on trailers or flat-beds. The bund is fully integrated — no secondary containment required on-site. Models from 250L to 2,500L are common on civil construction and mining sites where fuel needs to move with the job.

AS1940 compliance built in

Every GO BOX ships with a compliant venting system, emergency vent, lockable fill point and product placard holders. The double-skin construction means 110% secondary containment is built into the tank — no additional bunding required under AS1940 for most site configurations.

The GO BOX range covers diesel, petrol (EX-rated variants), aviation fuel and lubricant storage. Different liner materials, venting standards and electrical classifications apply depending on the fluid - our team can confirm the right spec for your application before you order.

Works with any pump kit

GO BOX tanks ship without a pump kit as standard - you choose the transfer setup that suits your operation. Pair with 12V, 24V or 240V pump kits from our range. Most diesel operators run a Piusi vane pump with a digital meter and auto-shutoff nozzle. If you need recommendations, call us.

Are GO BOX tanks legal to use on-site without a permit?

Yes, in most Australian states a self-bunded tank up to 25,000L that meets AS1940 requirements can be installed without a development permit, though notification or registration may still be required by your local fire authority. GO BOX tanks meet AS1940 requirements out of the box — we recommend confirming your specific state and council requirements before commissioning.

Can I transport a GO BOX tank when it's full?

Yes. Every GO BOX carries UN31A/Y certification for road transport of dangerous goods. You'll need the appropriate DG transport permits for your state and the tank must be properly placard-marked. The tank must be securely restrained on the vehicle — we can advise on chain-down points.

What sizes are available?

GO BOX tanks are available in 250L, 500L, 1,000L, 1,500L, 2,000L, 2,500L, 3,000L, 5,000L, 8,000L and 11,000L. Not all sizes are available in all fluid configurations — diesel has the widest model range.

Do I need to buy a pump separately?

Yes. GO BOX tanks ship without a pump. Most customers pair them with a 12V or 240V pump kit from our range, which includes pump, meter, hose, reel and nozzle. We can help you spec the right kit for your flow rate and duty cycle requirements.
