What it does
This is a mechanical float gauge. A weighted float sits on the fuel surface and moves a stainless cable that turns the dial. You get a direct visual read of how much diesel or oil is left in the tank. No electronics, no calibration drift, no flat batteries when you need to check stock before a delivery.
Where it fits
Above-ground bulk tanks on workshops, construction sites, depots, farms. The 1000mm probe suits most horizontal or vertical tanks under 2000L. DN40 thread is common on Australian fuel tank roof fittings. If you have an unused bung or need a sight gauge on a new tank install, this drops straight in.
